Overview:

AB181 seeks to amend NRS 202.3657 to allow a peace officer to apply for a concealed carry permit without the need to present proof of completion of a CCW firearms training course. Instead, any officer who is in good standing and has completed their agency’s required firearms training may use that status as proof of competency in the use of a handgun, which is required in order to complete the CCW application process.
