Overview:

SB188 seeks to amend NRS 202.265 and NRS 202.3673 to allow a CCW holder to carry a concealed handgun while on the property of the Nevada System of Higher Education, or on the premises of a public building on System property, without the need to obtain written permission to do so. It would also amend NRS 396.110 to ensure the Board of Regents cannot prescribe rules prohibiting CCW holders from carrying a concealed handgun under normal circumstances.
